“Generosity is its own kind of revolution.”
Pádraig Ó Tuama
On February 27, 2021, fifty people from various parts of the world came together online to engage with the Irish poet and theologian, Pádraig Ó Tuama, as he lead us in considering ideas about Creativity, Generosity, Forgiveness and Justice.
Using four poems*, Pádraig discussed themes of generous listening, making time for creativity, kindness to self, truth telling, and human flourishing. He urged us to have a clear-eyed view of creativity and the world, to forgo sentimentality, resist complicity, and to lead with generosity. The event was enriched by dialog with participants and their compelling observations and challenges.
