An 8-Day Retreat
From: Clotilde de Maroussem, IBVM
The 8 days retreat is a short version of the 30-day of the Spiritual Exercises from Ignacio de Loyola. Each day presents a theme which the retreatant deepens by contemplating, in the Ignatian way, the biblical passages offered for the day. In October 2024, this time of renewal took place for the IBVM sisters of Mauritius at the Maris Stella Center in Souillac, with members of other religious congregations and lay coworkers. It was led by Cardinal Maurice Piat.
Clotilde ibvm: “Every day I took a photo that represented the theme of the day, allowing me to express visually my response to the unfolding of my day. “
