Inspired by one of the members’ pastor’s advice to his congregation, Anawim Arts Writing Circle channeled its fears, anxieties and concerns about the actions of ICE (US Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and other elements of the current political climate into prayers for the TrumpAdministration. This project allowed writers to consider replacing anxiety and anger with compassion and blessing.
