Lord of all,
Protector of the fold,
Place in Steven Miller’s heart a place where the beauty of diversity replaces what presently remains in his heart.
May the sun shine in the dark corners of his mind.
May the division he has created be met with unity.
May the souls he has harmed find solace.
May he be reminded of the Russian pogrom his grandparents fled from, and have tolerance for those who come to our country looking for the same peace they searched for.
May Steven’s actions begin to reflect his Jewish teachings, “Be a disciple of Aaron, a lover of peace, a pursuer of peace, one who loves all peoples and draws them closer to the Torah.”
