A Morning with Pádraig Ó Tuama

February 27, 2021       9:30 AM – Noon (CST) online

Creativity, Generosity, Forgiveness and Justice

Join poet and theologian Pádraig Ó Tuama in a workshop exploring the practices of generosity, forgiveness and justice. A long-time peace and conflict mediator, Pádraig has an interest in how poetic form, language and bravery can support people as they explore these important themes in their artistic and public work.  Some of this retreat will build on the practice of Collect writing explored in the earlier Collect Writing Workshop offered by Anawim Arts.  If you didn’t attend the earlier workshop, it’s okay – you can catch up on the broad practice of Collect through this twenty-minute video.

Anawim Arts is pleased to sponsor this exciting event. We believe that Pádraig Ó Tuama’s words speak deeply to the situation that the world finds itself in right now. Pádraig Ó Tuama has found ways to use imagination and creativity to address peacemaking, border-crossing and the ways that expanding our questions/perspectives creates new possibilities.

To learn more about Pádraig Ó Tuama, you can go to his website or listen to this On Being interview.
