The Anawim Arts 2026 art show, Dare to Dream: Brokenness Needs Beauty (held in person July 12-19) features visual art paired with the written word. Anawim Arts asks: Given the state of the world, given how complicated ordinary life can be, given all the uncertainty we face everyday, how can art bring healing?
The online show includes all those who participated in person, as well as those who could not. The online show stretches the globe, inviting participation across geographic boundaries.
The show features the work of twenty-four artists and writers exploring how to create beauty in the space of brokenness. Using a wide variety of techniques, from collage and needlework to oil painting and poetry, the creators offer a dynamic and soulful path towards healing.
