The story behind the paintings is this: two weeks ago, our little white dog, Amylu died of liver cancer. This was very sudden and hit us hard. Since her death, I have been trying to get back to painting. I finally did, and I believe it was her inspiration that helped. So, somehow, I connect her spirit with my ability to create and paint. I’m always inspired by the beauty of trees.
BIO: I am a retired high school teacher. I have taken art classes at the College of DuPage, and studied with individual teachers. I have displayed my work at local libraries and coffee shop
