Transformed by fire. Thrown stoneware ceramic pot
Exhilarating fusion of glazes. Earthernware slab pot with majolica glaze and copper oxide and superimposed terracotta discs of clay
The joy of making impressions on a stoneware vase. A stoneware vase on which I freely made impressions with found objects.

I am a ceramic artist. I love working with clay. It is so impressionable. I love the colours that the glazes can produce. You never know what is going to come out of the kiln. This is my preferred medium, while I also paint and sketch the local landscape. I am also an art therapist.

My ceramics express the unexpected results of playing with clay which is put into a kiln and returns to me in exhilarating colours.
