Regret
Regret is a thing that chokes you until you don’t know what to say
Making you want to change the past in this or that way
Regret beats you down with no intention to stop
It squeezes you so tightly that you might just pop
Regret is a nagging feeling of embarrassment or guilt
It can make you feel tiny, no matter how you’re built
Regret makes a fool of you, it points at you and laughs
Kicks you around just like you’re a little piece of trash
You can be way stronger and more powerful than regret
But only if you do not back down and do not fret
But if you are confident and have a strong will
Regret will have no choice but to accept that it has been killed
