Rose DeSloover shares her thoughts about her three pieces:
“The image that has captured my imagination are intertwined vines, inhabiting the same
space, formed by growing together — ENTANGLED: twisted together so that
disengagement is difficult.
“The vines invite reflection on relationship and shared space. In being together, we don’t
just share physical space. We are mutually involved on multiple levels; social,
emotional, psychological, philosophical, political, intellectual, and spiritual.
“The conversion of an evasive, bittersweet vine begins with the selection of a house
paint color and title. Both the color and new name bring about the transformation.”
