Mother Earth, Pleading One
In crescendo, all Creation hear your cries of pain
Your unselfish concern for us and generations to come
Calmly you invite us to care for you so that all may live
Mother Earth, Persistent One
You call us to reason and reflection
Appealing to obstinate, unheeding resisting ears and hearts
Never giving up, your gentle voice beckons us, “Come! Let us reason together”
