In Search of the Divine

Clotilde de Maroussem sends this update from Mauritius.

I am a sister, member of the Institute of Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM/Loreto), from the tropical Island of Mauritius found in the Indian Ocean, where I live actually. As a retreat director and spiritual companion, photography has empowered me to explore how other believers connect with the Divine. This year during a formation (Tertianship) received from my Institute, I had the opportunity to spend several weeks with the Hare Krishna mission, founded by A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada –Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

Immersed in an Indian background of Bon Accueil village in the Northeast of the island, and taking time to put myself at the lotus feet of their spiritual master, has led me to sense Krishna’s consciousness. My spiritual, cultural and social experience at the Ashram has been enriched and has given me a broader vision of life.

Below is a quick sample of her work. To see more photos from Clotilde’s visit to the Ashram.
