Happy New Year! Are you looking for a way to give yourself a new experience this year? Do you want to challenge yourself to explore your thoughts and creative energy through writing? Consider joining a Wisdom Writing Circle through Anawim Arts.
Writing opens windows into our inner life. Writing can keep us centered, help us discover new aspects of ourselves, and new perspectives on our lives. When we come together as a community of those who write, we share these discoveries in a safe circle.
Whether you are an aspiring writer or want to explore writing in a group setting, the Circle will provide a structure and a supportive environment to explore the written expression of your experience.
We only need to be willing to learn who we are and what the depth of our soul truly wants and needs to express. While sharing our writing in a safe circle, we learn to trust the process and thereby trust ourselves.
Peggy Tabor Millin, Women, Writing and Soul-Making
The writing circles are led by Karen Hurley Kuchar and meet in monthly sessions of three or four weeks. Each meeting will include writing exercises, a time to share writing and an opportunity for the group to respond to the writings.
To learn more, go to Wisdom Writing Circles Event Page.
If you are interested but think there will be a problem making all of the sessions let us know. Or consider getting on the list for future sessions. Questions? email us at anawimarts@gmail.com
