You are invited to the 2026 Anawim Arts Show (details here)

Join us to celebrate hope and beauty in the face of loss and brokenness.

The Anawim Arts 2026 art show, Dare to Dream: Brokenness Needs Beauty, will feature visual art paired with the written word. The show will feature the work of twenty-four artists and writers exploring how to create beauty in the space of brokenness.

This art show also includes two exciting additional features —

We are thrilled to share the work of MirArte, a youth art group based in Cuba and supported by the Congregation of Jesus (Cuba). Their art show, Con sabor a metal (With the flavor of metal), displays pieces created from recycled wire and aluminum. The MirArte show is now available on our website and will be made available for viewing online at the Anawim Arts show.

As we announced a few weeks ago, Anawim Arts will also launch our first book of poetry at the show. This book was written during the cancer journey of one our founding members, Karen Hurley Kuchar. How to Live While Dying will be available for purchase at the event.

We look forward to seeing you July 12!

Date: Sunday, July 12, 1-3 pm

Location: Wheaton Franciscans, 26W171 Roosevelt Road, Wheaton, IL.

Please park in the lots for doors 5 or 7 and follow the signs.
